Thinking of you Hayden Marie today with sweet memories of her childhood and the young lady she was becoming. I miss her so much. I pray for her momma and brother to have peace and know she will always be a treasure to us.

Hayden and I were blessed to spend many weekends together watching Downton Abby, eating gummy bears, and working Stand by Faith. God gave this girl a talent for sales, and together we made quite a team. I would see her face light up with excitement when we were at the stands. It made me chuckle when she would say, "You know if you add something for a dollar, that would make your total an even ten." We would tag team and set goals for the day on what we wanted to sell the most of. She would tell people when they asked our relation to each other that she was my ward. She was always a blessing wanting to help however she could. She enjoyed baking , and watching the cooking channel. She was a humble girl, and didn't expect anyone to do things for her. She would try to duck if I took a picture of her. She liked to go shopping with me. And enjoyed going to World Market to get the "fancy soda's" they sold in old fashion bottles. She liked going to the movies and would look forward to the civil war ball we attended. We would plan and work on her costumes when she would go with the church during the Hallowed time. After it was ready, I would as her if she thought her costume was a winner? She would get a sparkle in her eye and say "yes!" With a laugh. She was blessed to win many years for having one of the best costumes. She also enjoyed being in the Sunday school programs. God blessed her to always know her parts, and show great exuberance. She always was nervous but happy when her Mom and grandpa Kirk would come to see her and her brother James in the programs. She loved her family so much. She loved her friends Olivia and Maylena, and enjoyed spending time and spending the night with them. We would share memories about Debra Ledford, who she would call grandma. I would tell her stories about her great grandma, my pastor JoVah, and about the time I spent with her mother Kaycie. I cannot write all the things we did and moments we spent together, there are too many. I will miss her emencly. She was a joy to me. But my comfort is knowing that she is in a place where there is no suffering, worries, or tears. Where her father in heaven and great grandma is holding her in their arms. I can only imagine the joy she is experiencing right now.
