Homer Dillon Obituary

Dillon Homer S. Dillon, age 93, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at The Bluebird Retirement Community. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of IBEW Local 71 for 64 years. Homer was well known for his landscaping abilities and yard work at his house. He is preceded in death by his wife Goldie Dillon, son Scotty Dillon, sisters Dorothy and Clara, and brother Sherman. He is survived by his daughters, Sonja (Lester) Lytle and Sherry Dillon; brother, Johnnie (Maro) Dillon; and grandchild, Joey Burgett. Family will receive friends Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a 1 p.m. funeral service at the RADER-McDONALD-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 1355 W. Main St., West Jefferson. Burial will follow Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be contributed to In Loving Care Hospice. Condolences may be made at www.radermcdonaldtidd.com.
