Howard A. Raffeld

Raffeld Howard A. Raffeld, age 70, of Columbus, died on Monday, May 30, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Sam and Bess Raffeld, sisters Norma and Ruthie, brother Dale and brother-in-law Ted Kenigsberg. Survived by daughter, Staci Williams; son, Scott (Amber) Raffeld; brother, Roger (Carol) Raffeld; granddaughters, Tegan and Nina; friend and former wife, Mickey (Everett) Swarts; brother-in-law, Isadore Susssman; and sister-in-law, Isabel Raffeld. Howard was born on January 11, 1946, in Los Angeles. He graduated from Eastmoore High School in Columbus and later served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer. He worked in banking and collections. Howard enjoyed the Reds, Bengals, and Buckeyes. He was outgoing, with a quick wit and made countless friends throughout his life. He will be missed.
