James Walter Law, of Reynoldsburg, born July 2, 1935, passed away January 17, at the age of 83 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a 1953 graduate of Groveport High School and a 60-year resident of Reynoldsburg. A self-taught man of great knowledge and many talents. He was a 40-year retiree of Columbia Gas, and co-owner of Central Ohio Pipe System for several years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by parents James and Sophoronia Law, sister Rita Weston, daughter Christel Law and granddaughter Rachel Quincel. Survived by His loving wife of 64 years, Bartha Jo (Bozman); His awesome children, Todd (Mindy), Kimberly (Mack), Bryon (Christina) and Brad (Barbara) Law; grandchildren, Emily (Marshall) Davis. Alex Ryll (Brittany), Alison (Rob) Remy, Ryan (Jen) Jacquot, Jessica Law (Caleb), Erin Law (John), and Katlin Law; great-grandchildren, Miles Wharton, Jaidyn Turner and Kinedy Davis, Damien and Jameson Ryll, Logan, Gavin and Lucas Remy, Noah, Colin and Rosalie Jacquot, and Nora Sollars; and sisters, Betty Borgan and Ruth Feyh. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 and one hour prior to his 3 p.m. Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, January 24 at Cotner Funeral Home 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg.
