You imprinted the importance of family, friends and to enjoy life.The holidays will be especially tough without you.You were the happiest surrounded by your family.Always looking out for everyone else first.I will miss the calls to change my oil, or to be careful when driving in the snow or just to say how are you doing?You are the best Dad a daughter could possiblity hope for.We will miss that great smile and warm hugs. My strongest memory of Mr. Mamone came out of a bad experience that we shared - and I suspect it reflects the part of him so loved by his family. Several years ago the Mamone's little dog Hunter was attacked and severely injured a couple times by a much larger neighbor dog. At the time of the second attack I happened to be outside and intervened to get Hunter to safety. Hunter was rushed to the Vet and survived the attack. Several days later I was talking to Mr. Mamone and he began to cry and thanked me for 'saving my little dog'. His emotion was so raw and his love for Hunter was so clear. I knew at that moment that Hunter was a very lucky little guy - a full fledged member of a loving family!

To my family;
May we not be sad for our lost but happy for the time spent and memories we have of this great man. Even before he past when I would talk about papa or think of him I couldn't help but laugh! I know that we all love him and appreciate all the care and love he gave to us but 1 thing not many people can say of their parent or grandparent "Thank you for all the comic relief!" I say this with love in my heart and a smile on my face "God Bless America"
