1939 - 2020
Jane L. Snook, age 80, passed away June 14, 2020. She was born July 25, 1939 to the late Melvin Vanlue and Thelma Hartman in Findlay, Ohio. She retired from Solid State Controls after many years. Preceded in death by son Chris Tillman, brother David Vanlue, and sister Barbara Adley. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Ronald L. Snook; sons, Scott (Debra) Tillman and Ronald (Lora) Snook Jr; daughter, Monica (Thomas) Richardson; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; and many other family and dear friends. Friends may call at WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. Livingston Ave. on Thursday, June 18 from 5-7p.m., where her funeral service will be held Friday at 11a.m. Rev. Dr. Irene Scaramazza officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family suggests any memorial contributions be directed to Charity Newsies.

I knew Jane professionally and worked with her for years while living in Texas and Southern Louisiana. Jane was smart,funny,interested,and very competent.
It was always the folks at the factory,like Jane, that took care of us sales types, did all the work for very little credit,and made us look great.
I am eternally grateful that I was lucky enough to know and work with Jane.

Our family loved and is blessed to have spent the last few years with Jane and Ronnie on the holidays. Jane was kind, warm, and always had something humerous and whitty to say. Up to the last time I spoke to Ronnie before she passed she was joking in the background. She always made me smile! She will be sadly missed, but always loved by many! Rest in peace Jane!❤

I worked with Jane from afar, as we are a representative of her prior employer rather than being based in Columbus. However, great distance did not deter Jane from building lasting friendships with all within our company who interacted with her and I, personally, considered her to be a dear friend. We all hated to see Jane leave AMETEK Solidstate Controls and we accept the news of her passing with heavy hearts. God bless her and her family in this time of sorrow. You are in our prayers.
