Sister June I'm very sorry to hear of you and your families loss. All of us at Goodwill Baptist Church knew Jason because he would visit but you always talked about him and how much he meant to you and how much you loved him. I will continue to pray for you and your family that God may help realize that he is safe and waiting for you in heaven.

RIP Jason,
Often times you read the obituary of someone that has passed on and you think to yourself, that does not sound like the person I knew; Someone did a lot of sugar coding! But in this case everything that was said about Jason from his childhood to his adulthood is very true. He was a teddy bear and I truly believe that he will stay in the hearts of all that love him. Jayda, Neveah, & Kayden I just want you to know that your dad/stepdad was a wonderful individual and treasure all your memories of him and move forth with his legacy.

To Jason's Family:
My son, Jason Kosmo, was a friend of Jason. He wanted to be here for the funeral but since he is a long distance truck driver, he could not be here but wanted you to know that you are in his thoughts. We were very sad to hear of Jason's passing.

To Melissa and Kayden, my heart goes out to you and I will continue to keep you both as well as the family in my prayers. Some say take it one day at a time, but when you’re hurting a day can seem like a life time. Just hold fast to God’s unchanging hand and begin moment by moment and he will certainly see you thru. Be Blessed.

Jason, Wow.... My best fried text me and told me what happened and all I could think about was the smile on your face. Every time I seen you, you were smiling and I would always say to my self, you was a happy person. You never knew when you was hurt because you never showed it on your face. We grew up together and went to the same school with each other.
Right at this moment I am still lost of words. I dont know what to say..

To the family, you are in my prayers..

Jason,
A friend, where to begin…you will be greatly missed. We've known each other since elementary school and graduated high school together. Your sprint was incredible. Every time we saw each other you would ask about my mother and how things were going in my life. Last time we were together, bowling you had your girlfriend's son with you, you lost bowling and little man did alright!
I pray your daughters are comforted by knowing what a great man their father was. I'll always remember your smile and you walking on your tippy toes! This hurts my heart that you're gone too soon, but I know God doesn’t make any mistakes. May God comforter your family all the days ahead.

I just shared Thanksgiving with you and Missy at your house. The meal was great along with the many jokes and laughs we shared. All you kept saying was "I ate too much" as you layed out on the sofa. Then on Christmas Eve at Rob's house. You always had a big smile and a kind word to say to everyone. You will be missed and my prayers goes out to all of your loved ones.

WOW!! It was all I could say when I heard about Jason. I recently reconnected with Jason on Face Book before then the last time I saw Jason we were kids, he lived 4 doors down from me on 4th street. My uncle gave him the nickname "Billy 2shoes" because he was out playing with mix matched shoes one day and to this day he remembered that. Jason will truly be missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I check the obituary occassionally just in case I know someone who has passed on. It saddened my heart to find Jason there today. We used to be childhoold friends and former classmates. Although I haven't seen him in many years he was always laughing, smiling and just a good spirited person. To the family: find peace in knowing that he is safe in the lord's arms now. Be blessed!

Man, this is hard….how do you find the words to comfort family and friends who just lost someone very important to them….how do I find the words to comfort myself in this time of sorrow… Jason was a gentle giant…..loved by everyone who came in contact with him….When u saw Jason you saw “J” (Jeremy)…. Now that’s hard…”J” my heart and soul goes out to you…..I’ve known you for 12yrs, there’s not been a day you were silent…til that night! I know your heart aches……I know your eyes is full with tears...But we both serve a loving God, a God that makes no mistake…..a God that will see you through this…I don’t have the words to comfort you ….I don’t have the words to comfort myself…But I do know that Joy cometh in the morning…..Nobody knows how long that night will be….or when your morning will come….just look the sky and know that “He has not left you”…..

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
