Jeffrey L. Heiser, age 65, passed away on November 10, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Helen Heiser. He is survived by his wife, Marcie Heiser; sons, David Heiser, Joe (Emily) Mahle and Jake (Kristin Woeste) Mahle; brothers, Larry (Dr. Jackie) Heiser, Bruce (Nanette) Heiser; grandchildren, Brittanie, Andy, Ashleigh, Makayla, Alexis, Gage, Grace, Megan, Christopher and Braidyn; 3 great granddaughters; sisters-in-law, Dr. Dorothy Anne (Dr. Barry) Richmond and Mary Pat Essman and her fiancé, Chuck Thompson; brother-in-law, Dr. Joe (Kathy) Essman; several nieces and nephews. Jeffrey graduated from Miami University and retired from HUD and The Ohio Industrial Commission. He was a member of Temple Israel. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, November 14 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at New Temple Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed immediately following the service at the Heiser residence. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to The Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org. I'm so sorry to hear that Jeff has passed away. He was my colleague at the Industrial Commission, and was absolutely one of my favorite people. I'm sending my sympathies to his family and all who loved him. I will remember him for his kindness and the way he always made me laugh.
