Joanne Y. Maggard

MAGGARD Joanne Y. Maggard, age 70, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1936 in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in London. Preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Margaret (Brown) Carroll, brother Dwight Carroll and sister Faye Hix. She is survived by husband, Jack Maggard; children, Jackie Wayne Maggard of Buckeye, Ariz., Rhonda Louanne Hoffman of Circleville, Todd Laney Maggard of Greenfield, Donna Hope (Kenneth) Young of Baltimore, Oh.; 4 grandchildren, Jenna and Beth Hoffman, Desiree Maggard, and Sara Young; brother, Teddy Bruce Carroll of Sabina; sisters, Ginger (Paul) Maddux of London, Dianne (Gary) Massie of Texas. A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the PORTER FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Deacon Dan Hann will officiate with the burial following in Bethel Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. Family suggest memorial contributions may be given to Loving Care Hospice, P.O.
