John Flood Obituary

FLOOD John Thomas "Jack" Flood, of Woodhaven, Mi., age 85, passed away February 9, 2005. Jack was born October 3, 1919 to Thomas J. and Mary Ann Flood. Jack was a member of the senior bowling league in Monroe for 12 years, also the senior golf league at Green Meadows. He retired in 1985 from Ford Motor Co. Woodhaven after 19 years in tool and die. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosemary; 11 children, Judy (Harold) Wolford of Ostrander, Ohio, John (Cheryl) of West Bend, Wisconsin, Peggy (Ron) Warner of Johnstown, Ohio, Ann Hawes of Lincoln Park, Joe (Lea) of Trenton, Tim (Sue) of Belleville, Mary (Dave) Rennie of Woodhaven, Mike (JoAn) of Lake Orion, Theresa of Woodhaven, Molly (Dave) Fisher of Newport, Mark (Robin) of Allen Park, all in Michigan. He also leaves 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson Kasey and 4 sisters. Calling hours will be at The MARTENSON FUNERAL HOME, 3200 West Rd., Trenton, Michigan, Friday 1-8 p.m. Rosary Friday 7 p.m. John will lie in state at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Saturday 9:30 a.m. until Mass 10 a.m. Burial at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Arbor Hospice, Indiana Developmental Training Center (Autism) or the local M.S. Society.
