John S. Pazaropoulos

PAZAROPOULOS (PAZAR) John S. Pazaropoulos (Pazar), passed away Friday, January 26, 2007. He was a WW II veteran and member of the 9th Air Force and the 397th BG Medium Bombardment, as an armorer gunner. He was awarded the Air Medal with 12 Oak Leaf Clusters and EAME Theater Ribbon with 5 Bronze Battle Stars. He was a certified Dental Technician and operated the Pazar Dental Laboratory for a number of years and was a member of the National Dental Lab Assn. and the Ohio Dental Lab Assn. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Hutchinson Kansas, Remo #124, Bexley Pistol and Rifle Club, NRA and Tri County Sportman's Club Inc. Member of the Greek Orthodox Church, The Annunciation. He was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Pazaropoulos. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene; son, John (Kathy) Pazar of Pickerington; daughter, Elaine (Lowell) Lustig of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, George, Emily, Angie, Melanie and Eliana; brother, Sam (Mary) Pazaropoulos; sister-in-law, Mary Leonidakis. A memorial service will be held at the WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. Livingston Ave., Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at 12 noon with luncheon to follow. Reverend Anthony Sarris officiating. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society.
