John Seeds Obituary

Seeds John M. Seeds, DDS, 76, of Centerburg, Ohio, formerly of Pickerington, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Reynoldsburg High School. He attended Miami University and graduated with his B.S from The Ohio State University, where he also received his doctorate in dentistry. He served 8 years in the Ohio National Guard. He practiced dentistry for over 40 years in Pickerington, and later years practiced in Perry County. He was a Past President of the Pickerington Lions Club and a Past President of the Hocking Valley Dental Society. John was an avid bicyclist and skier, was a member of Columbus Outdoor Pursuits, and had an excellent sense of humor. He was a life-long member/attendee of the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Keith Seeds and Madelon Seeds Debolt. John is survived by his wife, Katherine; brother, Dr. Melvin (Gayle) Seeds; step-children, David, Karen and Dale and stepson, Victor Paini; nieces and a nephew. Family will receive friends 9-11 a.m. Monday at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
