Joseph S. Bossetti

BOSSETTI Joseph S. Bossetti, 87, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2005 at HCR Manor Care Nursing Home. Joe was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Westerville, OH. He was a conductor on the N&W Railway for 37 years, but the primary passion of his life was coaching football. He coached for over 62 years at St. Charles, Bishop Hartley, Bishop Watterson, St. Francis DeSales, and Westerville South High Schools. He won the Assistant Coach Award in 1989 from the Ohio High School Football Coachs Association. He was a founding member of the St. Clair Athletic Club. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Antonio and Teresa Bossetti, his sisters Anita and Evelyn, brother-in-law Joseph Samaritoni, and his beloved wife of 58 years Alma. He is survived by his children, Anita (James) Foley, Joseph (Barbara) Bossetti, and Brenda (George) Fix; grandchildren, Theresa (Glen) Udall, Kathleen (Tim) La Casse, James (Sarah) Foley; great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Madison Udall, Erin and Lauren LaCasse, and Andrew, Kyle and Elizabeth Foley; special friend, Lillian Penzone, cousins, nephews and niece, and many, many other friends. Friends may call on Monday, July 18, 2005 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 313 N. State St, Westerville. Internment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, OH 43035.
