Julia Rennie

RENNIE Julia Rennie, age 96, of Columbus, Oh., passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Mt. Carmel Hospital. Julia was born February 11, 1912 in Greenock, Scotland, Great Britain to the late Samuel and Anne (Keers) Gough. Julia was the 6th child in a family of 9 children. She immigrated to America in July 1952. She married Henry G. Rennie on December 4, 1935 in St. Ninians Episcopal Church, Bank St., Greenock, Scotland. Henry preceded her in death on February 24, 1996. Member of Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church and Daughters of Scotland. She was compassionate, well-respected private nurse for several area families taking care of their aging family members. Preceded in death by her daughter Julia Marie Rennie. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anne Keers Caramico and Alfred; son and daughter-in-law, Henry George Rennie and Cynthia; grandchildren, Eric, James, Brandon Roberts; Heather and Matthew Rennie; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2009 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev.
