Karen L. McElwee, age 76, of Westerville, passed away peacefully January 20, 2021 at home. Retired Xray Technician for Drs. Coleman, Olix and Ward. Her favorite pastime was working in her yard. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald; children, Shane McElwee, Raven McElwee and Carter (Amanda) McElwee; grandchildren, Ella and Abe McElwee. Preceded in death by her parents John and June Brown. Private family service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice. Condolences at www.morelandfuneralhome.com.

Karen was an amazing neighbor and friend. I will miss seeing her out working in her yard which was always the picture of perfection. I will miss her example of strength in such a tiny package , her straight shooting personality and her peach ice cream. My thoughts and prayers go out to Don and all of her kids. She talked often about how proud she was of you all. Your wife and mom was one of a kind and left the world a better place.
