The relationship between a mother and daughter is always a strong one, but that of my Mom & me far exceeded most. I have so many fond memories of my Mom, but think the best memories are those of more recent years... maybe because as I grew older, I could see her more as the woman she was and appreciate the things she did for us even greater. She was such a loving, fun-loving and giving person... always thinking of others(especially true of my Dad and us kids) before herself. She also made the best out of ever situation, and lived life to the fullest. You was always smiling. Most people didn't realize that Mom's been sick most of her adult life. Her strength and resilence through those years will always amaze me. I can only hope to be half the woman my Mom was during her living years. I know that Mom will continue to live on in my heart for years and years to come. I'll miss her greatly! Thank you to everyone who has shared his/her thoughts and prayers with me and my family. I hope each of you continue Mom's legacy in your daily lives by loving others and living life to the fullest! She would expect nothing less : ) Love, Karen's Daughter, Laura

In the midst of our grief God's love reminds us that life goes on. Karen is in a better place and free of pain. In this life there was no one more loving of life, more enthusastic to help others and more loving in all her ways. She could make absoultely any situation cheerful and was rarely without a smile. We need to honor her memory with loving gestures to others. She will never be forgotten.

My grandma was the most kindest person I knew. Tyler and I had so many memories with her. She taught me so much. This wasn't suppose to happen. I'll never understand. Grandpa needs her. We all need her. I can't believe she is gone. I won't believe it. You'll always be right here in my heart grandma. I could never forget a thing about you. I will miss you more than you could ever imagine. My heart is broken without you. You're beautiful grandma. Inside and out. I'm so thankful I was able to say goodbye. I was able to hold your hand when you went to heaven. Forver in my heart. May you rest in peace. Love you.

I remember waking one Christmas morning to my first baby doll, blue play pen with white nylon netting and matching changing table. At the time I believed in Santa (I think I was 5). As time passed, I came to believe in my Aunt Karen. Still do. She always knew how to make the ordinary seem so special. No detail was too small. Maybe it's because her heart was so big, despite the petite package it came in. Whatever the reason, there was never a shortage of love, caring or giving. We have all been blessed by her presence here on earth.

My sister, Karen was a kind and wonderful person.
I will miss her more than anyone will know.
I Love You.
Please be at peace.
