Kent was a kind man. I admired his compassion and respect for others. I would usually see him in passing as he was coming home. During our conversations his attitude was upbeat. Kent was especially thankful for his family. "They take care of me," he would say. "I am so blessed!" Ohio has lost a great man!

I know the Good Lord has a special place for Kent. I only met him a few times while volunteering at the Open Shelter. He did extraordinary work for others.
