Kevin Aaron Stringer II, age 22, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018. "Lil Kev" as he was affectionately known by his family was born December 27, 1995, in Columbus, Ohio to his parents, Kevin Stringer I and Roberta Gatewood. Kevin was a quiet young man who had a deep voice and a laugh to go along with it. Left to honor and cherish his memory are his parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 17, 2018. Viewing will begin at 11 a.m. with services to follow at 12 p.m. at Family Missionary Baptist Church, 996 Oakwood Avenue, Columbus, Oh 43206. Flowers can be sent to the church, Monday 9:30-11 AM. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Arrangements entrusted to DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. I was not close to Kevin but was around him often years ago. Last night he was in my dream. Kev you are not forgotten and it is unfair that you did not get the chance to grow old with us. My heart goes out to his mom and dad, especially Ms. Gatewood. I know that is her baby. We´re still thinking about you Kev, I hope your time in heaven is going good.

The Compassionate Friends is an international grief support group for parents, grandparents and siblings who have suffered the heartbreaking loss of a child. Our only mission is to provide comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild, and to help others better assist the grieving family.
