Kimberly Koenig Obituary

Koenig Kimberly "Grandmudder" Koenig, age 52, of Pickerington, OH, died unexpectedly June 19, 2016. She was born September 11, 1963 in Santa Ana, CA. Kim was employed by Komar Industries for 25 years. She was an avid Steeler Fan, loved to travel to Las Vegas and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her father Raymond Gardner, son Matthew Needs and best friend Diana Hileman. Survivors include her daughter, Courtney Root; two sons, Patrick Koenig and Keegan Koenig; three grandchildren, "Dancer" Ella Heintz, Ryder Needs and Liam Heintz; mother, Patricia Gardner; three siblings, Ray Gardner Jr., Vicki (Lee) Langdon and Ron Gardner; four nephews, Jason, Brian (Lisa), Paul and Corey; many cousins and aunts. Family and friends may visit 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd N., Pickerington, OH 43147. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the BrockStrong Foundation. Online condolences may be found at www.spencefuneralhome.com.
