Lawrence Greene Obituary

GREENE Lawrence S. Greene, MD, age 78, of Columbus, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Son to the late William and Ruth Greenburg, Lawrence was born March 24, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY. He will be missed by his wife, Carol; daughter, Elizabeth (Andrew, MD) Chernick and their children, Emily, Alexander, Ryan, Jared, and Jillian Chernick; son, Jonathan Greene; sister, Lenore Ross; five nieces and one nephew. Graveside service will be held 12 noon Sunday, September 28, 2008, at Temple Israel Memorial Garden of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus. Rabbi Misha Zinkow, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Lawrence's name to Mount Carmel Hospice, c/o Mount Carmel Foundation, 793 W. State St., Columbus, OH 43222-9988, or the charity of donor's choice.
