Louise Stanton Obituary

Stanton, Louise
1942 - 2021
Louise Marie "Weese" age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021. She will be deeply missed by those left behind. Louise is preceded in death by her parents George and Marie Morse, and her husband John. She is survivied by her sister, Pam Clark; daughter, Suzy Gereg, son-in-law, Vincent (Bud) Gereg; and grandsons, Luke and Nicholas. She loved watching her favorite sports team - The Pittsburgh Steelers with her "terrible towel by her side"! She was one of the kindest, loving, and most genuine people you will meet. She lived her life with such a purpose of acceptance for others. She admired Fred Rogers and truly believed in his quote "Imagine what our real neighborhoods would be like if each of us offered, as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person." A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Columbus Colony for Elder Care for their kindness during her stay there. There will be no formal memorial service. To honor her wishes, immediate family will be holding a private gathering in Florida where her husband is at rest. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Delaware County https://hsdcohio.org/donate/ or Fred Rogers Center https://www.fredrogerscenter.org/ Memorial messages may be sent to the family by visiting http://www.morelandfuneralhome.com
