Marcella R. Ash

ASH Marcella R. Ash, 87, of Gahanna, passed away peacefully at the Mount Carmel East Hospital on January 9, 2011. Marcella was born in Dyesville, OH to the late Robert Turner and Winnie (Carpenter) Turner on May 31, 1923. Marcella grew up in Dyesville, and graduated from the Dyesville High School Class of '42. After WWII she met the late Mr. Ray Ash and married him on Valentines Day 1948. In 1963 they moved to Gahanna where the family resides to this day. Along with her husband and parents, Marcella is also preceded in death by her brother Leland Turner. Her survivors include her children, David (Donna) Ash, and Marraie (Robert) Cuccio; grandchildren, Gloria Ash and Andy Ash; great- granddaughter, Angle Ash. Marcella is also survived by other loving relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held at the Mifflin Cemetery on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna.
