Mark Buchsieb Obituary

Buchsieb Mark Carl Buchsieb, beloved father, soon-to-be grandfather, son and brother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Mark was born March 12, 1946 in Columbus to the late Helen Mae and Charles Lewis Buchsieb, and graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1964. Before moving to Telluride, CO in 1992, Mark was an active member of First Community Church and a regular volunteer at the Faith Mission men's shelter. He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, humor, community-minded spirit and colorful sense of style. Survived by brother, Emil George (E.G.) Buchsieb II; children, Stacy McCauley, Molly Almeida (Davi), and Mark Buchsieb; and all his caring family and friends. A Celebration of Mark's life and spirit will be held in Telluride, CO on Saturday, June 28, 2014. All are welcome. For more information, email [email protected]. All three of Mark's children were students in my Spanish class at Jones Middle School. Great kids. My sympathy goes out to Stacy, Molly and Mark.
