Mark Wardlow Obituary

Wardlow Mark Alban Wardlow, age 55, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015 at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center. Mark loved his family, his co-workers, sports, tailgating, beach vacations and retirement planning. He lived a big life and will be deeply missed by those who knew him His good soul will live on always and forever. Preceded in death by his mother Martha Alban Wardlow; father John Wardlow and wife Denise Botley Wardlow. Survived by his wife, Kathy Conn Wardlow; daughters, Elizabeth (Cody) Fuller, Emma Rose Wardlow, Lindsey McKenna Conn; grandson, Kaiden Michael Fuller; brother, John (Sherryl) Wardlow; sisters, Susan Wardlow and Sally Wardlow; nephew, Scott (Monica) Wardlow; niece, Stephanie (Mick) Thompson; Steve Botley and family; the Conn family; many relatives; neighbors and life-long friends. Friends and family may visit the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 550 Hill Rd. N. Pickerington, OH 43147 on Thursday, January 8, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday, January 9, from 10-11 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to American Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice. Online condolences may be found at www.spencefuneralhome.com.

I was very sad to hear of Mark's passing. We lived in the same dormitory and knew each other our freshman year at OU. I remember that Mark was always happy and friendly. My condolences to Mark's family and friends. I will always remember Mark and will see him again.

I was very saddened to learn of Mark's passing. I only knew him as a youngster (as the brother of my high school and college classmate, Susan) but he obviously led a successful and full life as an adult. He will be remembered and missed by many. My sincerest sympathies go out to the entire family.
