BAILEY Mary K. Bailey, January 23, 1946 - May 31, 2012. Mary K. Bailey, born in Louisville, KY, daughter of US Army Major Carl T. Johnston and Adeline Campbell Johnston. Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Graduate of Rice University (B.A., M.A. in Philosophy). A successful executive for multiple arts and charitable organizations including Houston Ballet in Houston, TX, Center Theater Group in Los Angeles, CA, BalletMet in Columbus, OH and All-Faiths Receiving Home in Albuquerque, NM. A lover of dance, music, literature, sunshine, a good intellectual debate and her NY Times crossword puzzle. Survived by her son, Sean (Charmaine) Bailey; grandchildren, Lily and Charles Bailey; nephews, Michael (Andy Kreiss) Lewis and Christian Johnston. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary K's memory to Children's Hospital Los Angeles - M/S #4, 4650 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90027 or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Southern California (& Nevada Chapter), 2440 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Suite 115, Los Angeles, CA 90064.

Mary Kay was a friend from Killeen High School, Texas. Shocked to hear of her death. She was a talented, witty and smart friend. My condolences to her family.

This is a hard time, but we are promised that we will see our loss loved ones again, on a paradise earth. That is what we are all looking forward to. God did not promise us death, He promise us life, and He cannot lie. We will see her again
