It is so difficult to express in words how saddend I am to hear of Mike's passing. He was such a bright spirit with a lot of life left to live. We do not always know why god takes some of us early, There is no doubt in my mind he is in a far better place. He will forever maintain a special place in my heart. My prayers are with the family during this time of sorrow. God Bless, and we will see you on the other side Michael.

Thank You for allowing my family to be a part of your family. We feel blessed. It only makes sense that Michael would be a wonderful, caring, strong, loving and giving person because that's what he has been surrounded by his entire life. I am so proud of Mike, for his courage and his ability to inspire all of us. I am honored to have played music with him, and that he was my friend.

I am so sorry for your loss, but in the sorrow is the happiness for Michael. Knowing that he is in heaven and pain free. Michael was a beautiful person, who was allowed to touch many lives, directly or indirectly. Thank you to God and Nancy for his miracle birth, those that helped him be the man he became and Anya for pure love that will always shine. Michael will live on in the lives he has touched.

What do you say about an amazing, inspirational, funny, talented friend besides that you love them and will forever be changed by knowing them. Mike I will never forget our long walks home from school usually making a pit stop at McDonalds for a few hours just to hang out... You were such a great friend and I love you. You really taught me a lot just being in your presence, I am inspired in many ways to change things in my own life because of you. You will be doing great things up there, as you did down here. I remember corralling Michael from under the church pews one summer at IRUMC VBS when he was just a toddler. What a feisty and ornery boy! That personality saw him through his short 25 years as he gave so much to so many. Mike was an amazing person w/ an amazing soul. I always enjoyed when he visited Otterbein, and remember camping with him a couple summers ago. His spirit will live on through his music & he will always be remembered. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. He is at peace forever now.
