Michael Douglas "Mick" Romosier

ROMOSIER Michael Douglas "Mick" Romosier, age 62, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at his home. He was a soft-spoken, caring father and friend who will be dearly missed. Mick was an avid NHRA drag-racing fan and a devoted Ohio State football fan. Whether cheering on the Buckeyes from the stands or from the comforts of home, he never missed a game. Mick was born in Columbus, Ohio at Mount Carmel Hospital on November 24, 1945 to the late Margaret (Wickline) and Leo Romosier. After attending high school, Mick went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps from which he was honorably discharged. He later became a longtime employee of Krieger Ford for 28 years where he made a family of friends. He is survived by his two loving children, Michael "Mick" and Michelle Romosier, both of Columbus; granddaughter, Gianna Romosier; Ninette Romosier (beloved ex-wife, friend and mother of his children); sister, Pat (Mike) Ozimok; many nieces and nephews and longtime friend and companion, Kathleen Warman. In addition to his parents, Mick was preceded in death by his sisters Irene Peterson and Rosemary Morris, both of Columbus and his brother Leo "Bud" Romosier, also of Columbus. Funeral service 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at SCHOEDINGER CLEVELAND AVENUE CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Ave., where friends may call one hour prior to service.
