Molly Lust Obituary
1939 - 2018
Molly Jean Lust, 78, with her family at her side, peacefully ascended to Heaven on October 5, 2018. Struggling with MS most of her life and fighting lung cancer for over five years, she is finally at peace and has gone to Heaven to watch over us. She was born on November 27, 1939 in Rose Farm (Crooksville, Ohio) to the late Thomas M. and Roberta M. (Dalrymple) Bell. Shortly thereafter, her parents moved to North High Street in Columbus where she spent her years as a child. After moving to Clintonville, Molly graduated from North High School in 1957. She married in 1959 and moved to north Columbus where she raised three wonderful children. Retiring in 1999, she moved to Sunbury where she lived until her death. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 59 years, George; sister, Janice (Larry) Jones of The Woodlands, Texas; children, George Lust II (Sandy Clark) of Pickerington, Julie Lust of Pickerington and Jamie (Scott) Doty of Sunbury; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy (Kristen), Karleigh, Elizabeth (Matt) Garcia, Kristen, Jenna, Will, and Emma; 5 great-grandchildren, Leland, Jace, Sadie, Hunter, and Reagan. In addition to her parents, Molly was preceded in death by her sister Jo Ann Clark. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 5 – 8 pm at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, State Route 3 at 61, Sunbury, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park. The DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home of Sunbury is honored to serve the Lust family.
