Nicholas Kempf Obituary

KEMPF Nicholas J. Kempf, age 78, of Grove City, passed away suddenly September 4, 2006. Nicholas was assistant chief of staff in psychology and social work from 1959 to 1986 at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Preceded in death by his parents Esther and Raymond Kempf. Survivors include his wife, June Kempf, whom he married June 19, 1954; his children, Steve Kempf, Greg (Lynn) Kempf, Paul (Diane) Kempf and Kathy Kempf; grandchildren, Hannah Kempf, Elizabeth Kempf, Rochelle Kempf, Rebekah Kempf, Caleb Kempf, Jennifer Kempf, Stephen Kempf, Sarah Kempf, Kristina Flauta and Erica Kempf; great-granddaughter, Malia Kempf. Friends may visit Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 5-7 p.m. at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City, where service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
