Nicki V. Zanetos

Zanetos Nicki V. Zanetos, a life-long resident of Delaware, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Willow Brook at Delaware Run. Born April 25, 1918 to Thomas and Angeline (Vlahos) Vatsures, she married Nicholas A. Zanetos on April 28, 1946. Nicholas preceded her in passing on April 1, 1991. Nicki was involved in a downtown Delaware business establishment for most of her life-since her early teen years working at her father's confectionary and after marrying her late husband Nicholas, they operated the Nectar Restaurant and then Nectar Candyland together for over 40 years. She is survived by her three sons, Anthony of Delaware, Ohio, Tom (Nancy) of Sherwood, Oregon and Craig (Amy) of Powell, Ohio; her four grandchildren, Megan of Portland, OR, Nicholas of Missoula, MT, Ellen of Powell, OH and Matthew of Powell, OH. Her family's well being brought her much happiness in life. Following a private family funeral service, burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Delaware, OH.
