I knew Nita from school days. She was always pleasant and friendly. She enjoyed being involved in our Glenville class reunions and she had excellent organizational skills. I am very sorry to learn of her passing.

I am Nita's first cousin-once removed. Sadly, there are only a few of the cousins of our generation remaining. I remember fondly all of the cousins getting together on Friday nights. Our great-grandparents, Rachel and Morris Bloom (Blumkovitch) are buried at Lansing Cemetery (Cleveland near east side), along with several other family members. It is with great sadness that I sat at today's funeral, but filled with happiness that Nita and Carl have been responsible for leaving a large and robust next generation.

My condolences to the family. May God's word be a comfort to you during this time (Psalm 91:15).

I only met Nita last fall, but in the short time I knew her I quickly learned that she was as tough as nails, but had a heart of gold. From the stories she told me, it sounds as though she lived a long life, full of joy and meaning. But what she treasured most was her family and close friends. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences.

Evan, Michelle and your entire family. My thoughts are with you at this trying time.. Over the years, since Glenville High School days, our lives have intermingled and finally as our families joined together with Michelle and Evans marriage. I recall many fond memories of Nita (and Carl). My deepest sympathy.

The lives of our two families remain entwined in joys and in sorrows. One day soon we shall all be together again recalling the joys, but these sorrows shall have no place in our remembrance. It will always be "sunny Riviera time."
