Patricia (Patty) L. Bulcher age 64 of Delaware, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home on July 18, 2018. Patty was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 14, 1953, the daughter of the late Irwin H. Amrein and Tirzah (Stager) Amrein. In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Stegens. Patty is survived by and will be deeply missed by her husband of 41 years, Tom Bulcher; siblings, Kathy (Ed) Shaw, Jean Martin, Irv (Kathie) Amrein, Nancy (Dale) Hopster, Carol (Tom) Edwards; and brother-in-law, Jim Stegens. Patty received her Diploma from the Cincinnati Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in 1975 and later received her BS in Nursing from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Patty subsequently worked as a CCRN for over 37 years, the majority of her career was spent at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Patty was passionate about her vocation and provided exemplary care to thousands of patients over the years. Patty was a faithful member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Powell, Ohio for the past 27 years. Patty was active in the St. Vincent DePaul Society, the Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary, and was a Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister at the church. Patty also extended her giving and caring spirit in her many years of volunteering at the Joint Organization for Inner-City Needs (J.O.I.N.) in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Friends will be received at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 W. Olentangy Street, Powell, Ohio 43065 on Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. (Prayer Service 6:30 p.m.) Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Road, Powell, Ohio 43065. Father James Black, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Patty's memory to J.O.I.N., 578 East Main Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, attn. Lisa Keita. Dear Tom & Family,
Patty's beautiful light brought so much love and kindness into the lives of all of those who were blessed enough to know her. Patty was very generous with her time and was always ready to volunteer to help others. It was a joy and special privilege to work with her. Her selfless actions continue to inspire me. Dear Tom and Family,
I don't have your newest address to send a card, so I hope you get this message.

Patty will be missed by all of us as she really was an angel in her daily life giving us all encouragement and support. She was so kind when my mother, Mary George died in helping me clean the house is Versailles. She adopt Mom's treasures.
I know you have many memories of her selfless work to help others. She has fulfilled her goal on earth and has earned her halo in heaven. My prayer are sent to support you in this sad time.
