Peter Gearheart, Jr. Born July 10,1942, age 76, passed in the comfort of his home December 6, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Myrtle (Collins) and Peter Gearheart, brothers Jack, Bryson, and Ralph, sisters Sally, Evelyn, and Roberta, sons Timothy and Scott Gearheart. Survived by his loving wife, Karen S. Gearheart; daughters, Karen "KC" Gearheart and Rachel Gearheart-Fout; grandchildren, Adena Griffith (Jeremy Caldwell), Alena (Mark) Davis, Montana, Callie Jay, and Cody Fout, Anna Mackenzie and Alivia Grace Gearheart, and Mariah Gearheart; great grandchildren, Makayla, Chiane, Bryna and Waylon Davis, Arwen, Alifair, Niya, and Emery Caldwell; many nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins, and countless dear friends and family. Pete was a passionate carpenter. He owned Ohio Carpenter Contractors, Inc. building homes in Central Ohio for decades. He enjoyed many summers boating on Lake Erie spending time with friends and family on the EZ One. Pete will always be remembered by his fun-loving, mischievous humor; which was always present in his role as Pappal. This great man will never be forgotten. Memorial Service will be held at Ellsworth Chapel at Central College Church, Westerville, OH 43081, Thursday, December 13 at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the memorial.
