A wonderful, caring soul who was always looking for the best in everyone. Ray and Jean were caring members of The Church of St. Edward for years and we´re first in line to be more than financial supporters. Ray was a class guy who influenced many men during his life, I am certain.

I met Commander Riley from his son Bryce back in the late Fall of 1971. He took his son Bryce and myself and Bobby Ray to The National Football Hall Of Fame in Canton one Saturday afternoon as we three boys played on the Undefeated Freshman Football Team of Whitehall Yearling High School and Mr. Riley thought it would be a treat...He Was Right Too!! He treated us boys to lunch and pretty much presented The Hall Of Fame as a fun learning experience. To this day nearly 50 years later I STILL remember with fondness how much that particular day stayed embedded in my heart and soul. I wish commander Riley's Soul a safe travel to Heaven.

The Whitehall community lost a true champion in Ray Riley. Ray was a pillar of It The Church of St. Edward and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Ray was one of the most humble men I have known, even though his life accomplishments were so numerous. I'm certain God has already put Ray's talent to work in heaven. Rest in peace, my Christian brother.
