Roby Family.
I was saddened and couldn't believe this sad loss. Dick had such a presence and as an owner, gave me the respect that I wish every owner should have for their employees. After working with him on his Jet website and at all dealerships, he taught me a few basics that I was lacking. Thank you Dick for your inspiration. I am reaching my goals in marketing and web design at last. Your family are in my thoughts.

Another aviator has been called to take the ultimate flight we all will some day take ourselves. I had the sincere pleasure to meet Dick at the Port of Columbus, Million Air FBO several years ago. He was a very knowledgeable pilot and we would talk aviation during our occasional meetings. I recall a day he was about to show one of his airplanes to a potential buyer. He noticed it was parked in the hanger next to our Gulfstream G550 aircraft and was afraid it would overshadow his airplane. Story short; we had our airplane moved to another hanger. He will be sorely missed by all at the various hangars he would visit. Dick, may you rest in peace in the House of our Lord. My prayers are with you Venus and the Roby Family.

I have only worked for Roby for a short time at Marysville dealer. In that time, Roby always made me feel at home. When in the shop, he would stopby and ask how I was doing. He would often ask what I was doing or why I was doing it that way. We also talked about the shooting sports. Dick will be missed by all he touched.

I can't believe it at all! So many of us old timers knew all the best of Dick Roby. Lots of fun and made some money too. Many great fishing trips and plane rides to the lake. He will never, ever be forgotten. Thank God for the priviledge of knowing and working for the Roby group. Thanks for all you have done too,Venus. Be strong and enjoy all the memories! I am deeply saddened about the passing of Rick. I remember in the late 1960's Rick was working at the Rapid Clean car wash for my father. Rick would give me a ride home in his Chevelle or Impalla whatever it was. I was 7 or 8 years old Rick was about 17 or 18. As soon as we were out of view of my father Rick was on the gas and jamming gears giving me a ride of my life. The bottom line is Richard L. Roby is a good friend and a great person he will always be remembered.
