To the Chapa family,
I've always been in awe of the closeness of your family
& especially the love and devotion between your 'pops'
and all of you. Mr. C.'s light still shines through each of
you. I hold you all close to my heart as you face this
unbearable loss.

You will definatley be missed Mr. Chapa!! He was one of a kind, that's for sure, always made me smile and reminded me of my own Dad in so many ways. I will look forward to seeing him again someday in Heaven - he's in a better place now. Chapa Family, you are ALL in my thoughts and prayers.

I was blessed to meet Mr.C when Damien frist stared in Under Siege.He was so very proud of his son he had cards printed to share with his friends. I was checking the paper today for the passing of another friend and saw this and years ago, the mid 60's I knew A Rico Chapa and Rudy Molina and a few others, all from a Texas town. After I moved back to Dayton Ohio and married we all lost track of each other. I wonder if this might be the same Rico. Still I wish he flies with the Angels above and all of you in his family on this earth look forward to the day you will meet again. God Bless you all in this time of sadness and grief.

Mr. C! Tell me the latest... Words cannot describe how much I miss you and your phrases. You could always make those around you laugh. My son has lost a grandfather and I have lost a father-in-law and best friend, I love you very much and wish you the best on your continued journey. I have so many wonderful memories with Rico. He will always be remembered as my very special and dear friend whom I could call upon for advice, encouragement, support and many laughs. His spirit radiated and everyone was drawn to him immediately upon meeting him. I know how much he loved his family. He would often talk to me about how strong his love for his children and extended family was. He beamed when talking about them and always was eager to show me pictures and stories and invites to meet them. You may be gone physically, my dear friend, Rico..but you will ALWAYS be held within my heart, and I am certain those that were blessed with your presence. Forever loved and dearly missed!!!!!
