I had the honor and pleasure of working with Bob at RSC/BDD. He was unfailingly gentle and kind and fair with a sweet sense of humor, attributes much appreciated in an intense work environment. I know his integrity and well reasoned advice had a profound impact on many coworkers and clients. He was a good, good man.

I am truly heartbroken to hear about the loss of Bob Bartha. He an JPam were good friends of our family and a part of our church, We even got to "babysit" their crazy monky! Then after the loss of Pam we started a Grief Support Group at the church, Also was involved in his wedding to Sheila. Such tragedy in his brief life. My condolences to fhis brothers and family. We were close friends. Bob and I lived on the same street for 10 years. He was a humble man and enjoyed life's simple pleasures, like watching the night sky and playing with his dogs. Bob did not aspire material possessions. He valued learning and service to others. Bob earned a PhD and was a licensed psychologist. He taught at Columbus State Community College. I and others will miss his care and kindness.

Dear Jim and family, We are so terribly sorry to learn of Bob's death. We have so many memories of our being neighbors on Torrence Road and more recently seeing him at Hill's Market. Memories include hearing bob practicing his drums across the driveway to sharing the experiences of both he and Jan becoming psychologists. Bob was a kind and caring person with an easy, welcoming smile and manner who left his life and ours much too early. He will be very missed by all of us who knew him. Blessings and sympathy to all of you, Tom, and your families. Jan and Randy Morrison

Robert was a lovely and lively person; kind and good despite his deep losses. He's a person who watched over those around him, including neighbors. I remember his willingness to help and his interest in the latest neighborhood news. He enjoyed such conversation. That many of us will miss him is no surprise.

Bob was a great neighbor. Whenever we walked past his house or he passed us on the road, he stopped to talk. We grieved with him when he lost Sheila and now we grieve him. Barbara and Gordon Grigsby
