Robert R. Bragg Sr., 81, of Columbus, passed away August 19, 2018. Robert was born April 17, 1937 to Troy and Agnus (Hobbs) Bragg. He was a minister for the Church of God out of Cleveland, Tennessee. He was married to Shirley (May) for 60 years. Robert will be deeply missed by his wife; children, Robert Jr. (Sherry), Troy (Lisa), Mark (Michelle); grandchildren, Shelly (Bill), Robert Cole, Lace Marie, Troy Michael (Kimberly), Scott, Ryan, Seth, Cameran; great-grandchildren, Drew, Faith, Rylee, Colt, Trenity, Parker, Troy James, Nash, Nora, Chance; brother, Harold; sisters, Violet Wiley, Emma Jean Sabbage. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Maxine Shilot, Betty Jones, Dallas Bragg, Kathaline Jones, James Bragg and Elwood Bragg. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 5-8pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus and again Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 11am-12pm at Life Church, 5000 Sunbury Rd., Columbus. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 12pm at the church with Pastor Samuel Shilot officiating. Burial will be at Northlawn Memory Gardens. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
