Robert Kuno Obituary
1950 - 2018
Robert W. "Bob" Kuno, age 68, of Columbus, passed away October 5, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Hospital. Bob was a 1968 graduate of Grove City High School; he served in the US Army during Viet Nam from 1970 to 1971. He was a life member of The American Legion and VFW. Bob loved NASCAR and loved to sit in his garage and watch the traffic go by, and was an avid Bengals fan. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Edna Kuno. Survivors include his son, Nathan (Elisha) Kuno; grandchildren, Thya, Haley, Alex, Layla, Noelle and Noah; sisters, Kay (Ian) McGregor, Ruth (Bill) Zemo and Marcia (Mark) Cremeans; brothers, Jim (Rose) Kuno and Carl (Masheleen) Kuno; dear friends, Mike Colley and Kenny Holdrieth; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2-5 PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio, where funeral will be held Monday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery. Bob was an organ and tissue donor; in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lifeline of Ohio. I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember writing to Bobby when he was in Nam. I think I still have a picture he sent to me. My brother, Larry had many fond memories of the days when they were good buddies. RIP, dear Bobby

Kuno was always considered an uncle to me. He was closer than most family members and there for every event, holiday and of course for game/ race time! His laughter, comical mannerisms, and smell of pipe tobacco are what I will miss the most. Love to all that knew him. May God heal your hearts.

Didn't know him as long as others but when I started bartending at Rackums, he was there with open arms and made me fill very welcome, he was always so nice to my kids, he will truly be missed , sending his family many prayers and my deepest condolences, I'm so glad I got those moments with such a wonderful man

My thoughts and prayers for Bob's family. May your special memories bring you comfort.
I remember Bob being a really nice guy. He used to visit my Dad Ned ( Surfin' Sam ) Wade at our house on Park St. and at Dads shop behind Sigs market. Always saw Bob at Kuno's Gulf Station, everyone from Grove City knew the Kuno's.A wonderful family. I would like to express my gratitude for Bob's service to our country in Vietnam.
