To Sheila and the Lance Family and Kids: We all have our favorite Lance stories. And those that have come to know him through the years, know that he loved you all the most and without judgment. So did his friends. I will especially miss his badgering, which I knew meant the contrary. Especially to Sheila and the kids, we know your hearts are aching. We want you to know that you are not alone. I feel lucky to have crossed his path in this life and may the journey never end.

To Sheila and the entire Lance family: My deepest sympathies and regrets for not having the opportunity of saying goodbye to one of truest of all characters. He loved you all and cherished his OU friendships. We loved him too and will remember him fondly in the years to come.

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
