We Pettibone's come from a big family and very few days go by that Bobby is not in my thoughts. We have a history. I am blessed to have Bobby's family near and dear with me and my sisters and brothers. We grew up together and we are aging together. We have a history. Whoever would have thought growing up in Ashville, Millport, and South Bloomfield would have been the best of times? It was so simple and easy for us back then even tho we lost my dad, Jay, way too early. Most of us have lost our Dads except for our precious cousins and Uncles Tommy and Russell. Just like the business they were and are in today, our love for each other is cemented forever. It warms my heart to see Marie's family leave best wishes for Bobby's South Bloomfield family. Marilyn has earned and deserves it. My Dad named me after Marilyn. Thank you, Judy! Yes, the Gaines are our family, too. We have a history. Rest in peace, Bobby. I know you are up there on that high mountain playing ball with my Dad. In God We Trust.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
