I've know Bobby since the seventies when he worked at Lazarus downtown. I still have the Fisher speakers I bought from him all six of them. He was a nice man who made me feel welcomed at the bars since I was one of few blacks who went out to the clubs. I miss his presence and many people loved and respected him.

From the day I met Bobby as a wine salesman, to the days at Lazurus and till the day of going home to be with the Lord, he has always been in my heart.

Bobby and I shared many wonderful moments through the years and I will cherish them forever. I'm so sorry for the Wilder family's loss. He was a great man and forever in my thoughts.

Bobby was a super gent. When I would come to Columbus to visit, he always took the time to chat with me and try to get me to move back to Ohio. May we all remember his gentle ways and kindness. My thought to his family. Rest in peace Sammy!

To the Wilder Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Bobby always had a way to make you smile even if you did not feel like it. We had a great time this PRIDE even though he said he did not feel well, he was Happy that others were Happy. That was always our Bobby. Or as my Mom called him "Sammy". The most tenacious man and biggest supporter of the Columbus community.Many years and many happy moments will be remembered of Bobby.His sweet nature and his entertaining ways will always keep this "Candy Man" in our hearts and prayers.Our condolences to all his family and especially to the Tremont family for a tremendous loss.
