Roger McBrayer Obituary
Roger McBrayer, age 73, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Riverside Hospital following complications from esophageal cancer. Graduate of Hilliards High School Class of 1962. US Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam. Roger worked with his father at Beeline Alignment for many years and then pursued his life-long passion of building cabinets and doing home remodeling. He also worked with Jack's Appliance for many years. After retiring Roger enjoyed working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Preceded in death by parents Eugene and Eloise McBrayer. Survived by loving wife of 35 years Anne, children Bo (Cheryl) McBrayer, Kelli Frantik, Tim McBrayer and daughter-in-law Karen McBrayer, siblings Donna Hackworth, Ronnie (Diane) McBrayer and Sharon (Ed) Reiselt, grandchildren Jacob and Zachary Frantik, Brandon and Brittany McBrayer. Family will receive friends 10 am -12 pm Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Maranatha Baptist Church, 4663 Trabue Rd., Columbus, OH 43228; where a memorial service will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Timothy Kenoyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 or visit their website at www.dav.org. Anne & Family: I was so sorry to learn of Roger's untimely passing. I haven't seen Roger in many years, but hold warm memories of him. Roger remodeled some buildings for me many years ago and I came to know him as a talented craftsman, hard worker, fair & honest person, as well as an all-around good guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Even though I knew Roger for two years while working with him at Enterprise. I grew to know him and respect him as a family man and as a fellow worker. Roger was well liked and also a wonderful human being. He has and will always be missed. RIP

My condolences go out to all of Roger's family & friends. Roger is a classmate of mine from the class of 62 at HHS. He was a very good friend & I sure miss those good times back then.
