1936 - 2018
Ruthie Neal Casdorph of Dublin, OH, born in Reynoldsburg, OH, age 82 passed away Saturday afternoon, December 29, 2018. Attended Grandview High School. She started working for a dentist in her senior year who taught her a lot about being a dental assistant. After working many years as a dental assistant she went to work for the Ohio Funeral Directors Association as the Resource Coordinator. When she retired from there she took care of her grandbaby, Laini, for many years. She then became a nanny for a lovely family who became a part of her own. Her sweetness and God's love shone through her for all to see and she never met a stranger. She was a loving Grandmama, who played an active role in her grand and great grandchildren's lives. Preceded in death by her dad and mom, Levert and Anna Neal; beloved husband Ben Casdorph; loving daughter Colleen Casdorph Hamilton; and nephew Tim Neal. Ruthie will be deeply missed by her brother Jerry Neal (Judy); children Craig (Kathy) Casdorph, Cinda (Mark) Wickersham, David Casdorph; Grandmama of Heather (Brady) Minich, Lauren (Eric) Conley, Nick (Sarah) Casdorph, Anna (Michael) Lutz, Stephanie (Kelsey) Casdorph, Hayley Hamilton, Laini Wickersham, Sam and Ella Casdorph. Great Grandmama to Sofia, Landon, Carter, Lottie and sweet little girl not yet born; Aunt to Cheryl and Lynn Crigger, Anita Casdorph, Brian (Erin) Neal, Jeff (Stephanie) Neal, and many other extended family members, honorary children, honorary grandchildren and many dear friends. Family will receive friends Friday, January 4, 2019 from 4-7 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., Columbus, OH 43221. A funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Meadow Park Church, 2425 Bethel Rd., Columbus, OH 43220. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ruthie's memory to Meadow Park Church Youth/Student Ministries. Please visit www.schoedinger.com to share memories and condolences.

Ruthie and Ben were dear friends of ours for over 60 years. Through their many challenges, she never complained but just leaned on God to give her strength and peace. We will really miss her! Prayers for all of her family to follow the God who gave her to our lives and who now called her to Heaven - may we all be reunited some day.
