Thinking of Sam
The welcome home hugs that will never be shared
Nor will the toasting to "have a good life" with friends whom were dear
Absent of the graduations and weddings of his children five
An explanation is to be declared.
When you are missing Sam…look at his children
For they are a carbon copy of he and he’s a part of each
It may be their eyes of the soul, lips that speak, or the structured nose
Reach around their bodies and hold them close.
Share stories about their father that they never knew
Talk about all of his good deeds during his stay here
Stories of when he was a young boy
Or up to the point of yesteryear.
When you think of Sam
Know he was a man of God
Becoming a humbled peacemaker
Following the laws of the Heavenly Father…Allah.

I remember Sam when we were just teens and I haven't seen him in over 10 years but I never forgot him, I remember him as being very silly and he was a very good friend to me.
