Sandra L. Dorris

Dorris Sandra L. Dorris, age 66 of Delaware Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 21, 2013. She was born on July 28, 1947 in Malta Ohio, the daughter of Ronald and Ruth Dorris. Sandy worked at Zaner Blosser/Highlights for Children for 47 years before retiring on December 7, 2012. Sandy was a member of Harlem Church of Christ in Christian Union in Delaware County. She was preceded in death by parents Ronald and Ruth Dorris, infant siblings Evelyn and Sonny. She is survived by sisters, Geneva Jones, Eloise (Lilly) Yarbrough, and Judith Jones; nieces and nephews, Carolyn Jones, John Lilly, Deborah (Jones) Garber, Pam Daniels, Mark Lilly, and Theresa (Jones) Woodworth; great nieces and nephews, Chris and Andrew Jones, Anthony and Hannah Garber, Kendall Hardy, Johnathan and Jessica Lilly, Mark Ryan and Marissa Lilly, Ian and Haylee Daniel. Sandy will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 27, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3047 Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus Ohio 43231 at 11 a.m. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday August 26, 2013. There will be a graveside service at Dew Cemetery in Corning Ohio at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday 27, 2013.
