Sarah Hall Obituary

HALL Sarah Marie Hall, age 72, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Kobacker House. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Sarah retired in 2005 from the American Society of Criminology after 30+ years of service. She found enjoyment in arts and crafts and collecting Christmas ornaments. Preceded in death by her mother Florence (Victor) Thayer. Sarah is survived by her sister, Joann Thayer; brother, Allen Thayer; and good friends, Judy, Pat, and Wanda. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 13 at the SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Ave., where friends may call 4-6 p.m. prior to the service. Contributions in memory of Sarah may be made to Kobacker House. Please visit www.schoedinger.com to share a favorite memory of Sarah Hall.

JoAnn and Allen, I was very sad to read about Sarah Marie. We all had great times together at Buckeye Lake and she was always smiling and fun to be around. She always had a positive attitude and it spread to everyone she knew. I'm sure she will be very missed

I am so sad to hear about Sarah, I can always remember how hard she worked for the American Society of Criminology. I can remember when she was in the old OSURF building and I would have lunch with her and many times we would be doing crafts in her office. She was such a special person and truly a very good friend of mine. I am so thankful that she came into my life and I got to know her for several years. You will always have those special memories of her.

My thoughts and prayers are with Sarah's family. Sarah & I go back to Leonard Avenue. I tried to connect with her a couple years ago, but was told she was ill. I have many good memories of Sarah. May she rest in peace. Betty (Lanier) Blackburn, Ocala FL.
