Sarah Kaser Obituary

KASER Sarah Elizabeth Moore Kaser, 86, a resident of the Westerville Manor Care and formerly of Coshocton, died January 3, 2007 at the care center. She was born February 3, 1920 in Smithfield, Ohio to the late Lawrence and Edith (McAdams) Moore. She was a retired employee of the former Shaw-Barton Co. in Coshocton. A member of the Coshocton Presbyterian Church and the Afternoon Circle of Presbyterian Women. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Coshocton VFW #1330, a 50 year member and past worthy matron of the Scio Chapter #316 Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Myra Sue "Susie" (Chuck) Kull of Westerville and Sallie M. Kaser and Pat Vastadore of N. Versailles, PA.; three grandchildren, Michael L. (Shannon) Kull of New Albany, Heidi (Tai) Seau of Japan, and Sarah Jo Kull of Westerville; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, William Moore of Scio. She was preceded in death by her husband Donnie F. Kaser, whom she married March 16, 1946, he died September 9, 2000. She was also preceded in death by two sisters Mildred (Hubert) Amos and Kathleen (Dale) Walton and two brothers Harry J. (Hazel) Moore and John A. (Spunk) Moore. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the FISCHER FUNERAL HOME in Warsaw with Rev. Robert Millspaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. Visitation is Friday, January 5, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. and until service time on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 6500 Busch Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229, Alzheimer's Assn. East Central Ohio Chapter, 126 W. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Your parents were very special friends that we made on our trip to New Englad many years ago. We visited them several times when they lived in Coshocton. We have many fond memories of our adventures on our trip.
