I learned of Sher's passing on what would have been her 50th birthday. My heart is so heavy as we have been friends since we were 13! I took her flowers on her birthday, even though I knew she would have preferred M & M's. I smile when I look over the years and think of the richness Sher's friendship brought to my life.
Like the wind through the trees, out lives would flutter apart and back together again. And when a raindrop falls, or a snowflake glistens,or when a gentle breeze tickles my cheek......I will be with Sher again. I will forever love and miss her.

My deepest condolence to the family of Sher. I met Sher in Art Wanted where she is and will remain the "soul" of AW. She is a wonderful person, a fantastic artist, and an exceptional human being. She was supportive and always guiding new artists to develop their skills to the maximum. Through her paintings, I saw her love for life and the animal kindom. She was a romantic who loved life and loved people and wanted to reach and help others through her art works. The world has lost a great person who was an inspiration to us all. I only know Sher from artwanted, I've had a portfolio on the site for a couple of years but just started checking out the message board a few month ago, Sher was very active and I made it a point to check out her post, I can honestly say that I agreed on all her replies. She was here for a reason,,,, And the Lord opened his arms and said,,,great job Sher! and took her home.

I remember Sher in online, in chatrooms, and how astounding her artwork shines brillantly from all the rest. I saved her website for years and carried it with me in my journal because of the inspiration, the magnitude of excellence she created that touched me permenantly with encouragement for my own artwork. My sincere condolences to Sher's family. Sher influenced my creativness by frequently commenting on my artistic strengths with her positive insight on life. As you can she she touched hundreds of artists from all over the world. She was the most respected member of our community. Her work was always winning the top award catagories. Sher was an inspiration and a wonderful influence as an artist to me. She gave me much... inspiration and influence...and her art works were inspiring and wonderful, and I learnt much about many things from this wonderful person that I sadly only knew through an art site.
Yet through this art site, Sher was able to spread her vision through her great skill and art.
She has truly been a dream and an inspiration to me, and I know she has been an inspiration to many other artists and people too.

I knew Sher for several years through a number of online artists' discussion groups. We were the same age. She was a vivacious woman with an eloquent and poetic soul. We had many interesting discussions and sometimes spirited intellectual disagreements, which I expect and admire from people who are passionate about art and life. The single thing that shone through above all else about her was her love for her family. Her life was cut far too short, but her legacy lives on, and her soul endures, buoyed by the love of her family and many friends. May she rest in peace.

I have said this many times about Sher's artwork..."what can be said that already hasn't?!' She touched so many lives in so many ways. My portfolio wouldn't be what it is today without her energy, boosts of confidence, subtle wisdom, and tender butting of heads over philosphy. And I know several artist who believe the same. Thanks for all the help Sher, straightening out the blurs, infiltrating my soul, and for guiding my brushstrokes!!! Bright moments

I've know Sher for many, many, years online. As she was about to open her own gallery/studio I was excited about possibly meeting her in person. Now I will be content to have known her at all. The epitome of an artist, who's passions colored all aspects of her life, Sher lived every minute. The only painting I ever saw that made me cry, touching something deep inside, was one of Sher's.
Sher's spirit is too strong to be gone. She will be with us always.

From what I knew about Sher, she was a truly passionate person both in her personal life and in her artwork. The art community has definitely lost an extremely talented artist and a caring, loving, person.
But we must all remember she will be in our hearts, and in our souls.

I meant Sher through AW. The first time I had contact with her I was working on a portrait and she helped me define it. The final portrait was amazing thanks to Sher. She was a fantastic artist and person she will be missed.

How long have i known Sher well it seams like a life time thou it was only two years
Sher welcomed me to the AW family with open arms and gave encouragement to all and went to bat for all
I personally remember having many battles with her i always took the other side of the coin when we clashed to give the other side of the story while Sher had her big sword i ran around with my small dagger
but at the end of the day we always hugged and made up and waited for the next bout
to a friend i will truley miss
