Stanley Harper Obituary

Harper Stanley Eugene Harper, age 86, departed this life on April 12, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. A WWII Army Veteran. Member of Union Grove Baptist Church, Masonic Order, St. Mark's Lodge #7; LD Easton Consistory #21 and Alla Baba Temple #53. Retired employee of McDonnell Douglas. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Mary Lue Blackwell Harper, wife Thomasina, brothers Bernard Blackwell, Richard and Randall Harper. Survived by daughters, Eugenia his devoted caregiver, Nanette (Fred) Booker, and Tonette Harper; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Harris; many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Union Grove Baptist Church, 266 N. Champion Ave. from 10 a.m. until time of Masonic service at 10:30 a.m. Funeral to follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Henry L. .Johnson III, Officiant. Arrangements by C. D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave.
